How GoGet's Real-Time Billing works

When and how will I be charged my membership fees?

Your monthly or annual membership fee will be charged separately from your usage on the day they are due. If you sign up on the 23rd of the month, you’ll be charged on the 23rd of the month going forward.

When will I be charged for my trip?

Most post-trip charges will come through a few hours after the trip has ended. It may take up to 24hrs to receive the data from the unit in the vehicle.

For bookings of 24 hrs or more, the minimum cost of the booking (hours booked, damage cover) will be charged when the booking is made. The remaining post-trip charges will come through a few hours after the trip has ended.

When will tolls be charged? Why is there a delay?

We receive toll charges from operators a few days after each booking. Due to this delay, we charge tolls separately to post-trip charges.

We’ll usually charge tolls within 7 days of the trip ending though in some cases, we might receive additional toll charges from operators after 7 days. We’ll pass these on when they come through.

What about fines?

If you receive a fine for returning the vehicle late, or accessing a vehicle without a booking, a $25 fine will be applied and charged at the same time the kilometres are charged.

Other fines for leaving a car dirty or smoking in a vehicle will be charged to your account after the next member has used the vehicle and notified us.

What about any extra Damage costs?

Damage Cover Surcharges;

If you are on the Reduced or Learner damage cover option, these additional fees will be charged:

24 hour booking or more

Less than 24 hour booking

Charged when you create the booking/extension

Charged after the booking has ended

Damage Incident;

If you have been involved in an accident or damage has occurred to the GoGet vehicle during your booking please check here.

What about booking extensions?

Less than 24hrs: If the total duration of your booking and extension is less than 24 hours, the booking will not be charged until after the booking has been completed

24hrs or more: If the total duration of your booking and extension is more than 24 hours, the minimum cost will be charged at the time of confirming your booking.

Where can I view the breakdowns of my booking costs?

You can view the breakdown of your booking cost by visiting Bookings in the app or website and tapping Past. Here you'll see all your past bookings. Tap on the booking you are looking for and on the Booking Cost for a breakdown.

What if you charged me incorrectly?

If you notice an incorrect charge for one of your bookings, please get in touch with us quoting the booking ID and let us know what went wrong.

Where do I find a Tax Invoice for my Trip?

After logging in, go to ProfileInvoices, and click on the booking you'd like an invoice for. You can download or screenshot the invoice if you'd like.
