How to log in to the new GoGet app for the first time

With the launch of the new GoGet app (which will be progressivley rolled out through January 2026), we’ve made some important updates to how you log in - including stronger account security through Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Here’s what to expect the first time you log in.
Step 1: Open the new GoGet app
Download the latest version of the GoGet app from the App Store or Google Play, then open it on your device.

Step 2: Enter your GoGet email address
Use the same email address linked to your GoGet account.
If you’re unsure which email you use with GoGet, check any booking or billing emails you’ve received from us.

Step 3: Reset your password
As part of our new login system, all members need to reset their password before signing in for the first time. Follow the prompts and you will be sent a password reset email to set a new password.
Having trouble receiving the email? Check you have entered your email correctly and your spam folders. If you still have no luck, or cannot access the email on your GoGet account, give us a call on 1300 769 389.

Step 4: Set up Multi-Factor Authentication
After updating your password, you’ll be guided through setting up MFA using your mobile number.
Once both are set up, you’ll use your password plus a one-time code sent to your phone or whenever you log in or you can choose to enable Biometrics Login (link to biometrics article) for quicker and easier access.

Step 5: Log in and get going!
After MFA is set up, log in using your new password and verification code.
You’re ready to start booking cars in the new GoGet app - safely and securely.
