GoGet has permanently discontinued SMS booking confirmations.

We’ve updated our notification process to focus on our more detailed and secure digital channels. As a result, GoGet has permanently discontinued SMS booking confirmations.

Where can I find my booking details?

Everything you need is available at your fingertips through our primary tools:

  • The GoGet App: View your full schedule, vehicle location, and live updates instantly under "My Bookings."
  • Email: A comprehensive confirmation is sent to your inbox immediately after every booking.
  • Push Notifications: To get instant alerts on your phone, ensure Push Notifications are enabled in your GoGet app settings. This is the fastest way to stay informed and provides a direct link to your booking, see below for iOS and Android instructions.

Is SMS coming back?

No. We are moving forward with the GoGet app and email as our exclusive confirmation channels to ensure you always have access to the most accurate and up-to-date information.

If you’re trying to ensure you don’t miss your booking reminders or car location details, getting the GoGet app notifications sorted is vital.

For iPhone Users (iOS)

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Scroll down to the very bottom until you find the alphabetical list of apps, then tap GoGet.
  3. Tap Notifications.
  4. Switch the Allow Notifications toggle to green/on.
  5. Top Tip: Under the Alerts section, ensure Banners and Lock Screen are ticked so you see your rego and bay details even when your phone is locked.

For Android Users

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap on Apps (or Applications > Manage Apps).
  3. Find and tap GoGet in the list.
  4. Tap Notifications.
  5. Ensure the toggle for All GoGet notifications is switched On.
  6. Granular Control: You can often tap specific categories (like "Booking Reminders") to ensure they are set to Alerting rather than Silent.
